Acer was the first to launch a netbook with 11.6″ display and Aspire One 751 is already available in Taiwan. More large PC builders are getting ready to do the same, beside Gateway who recently showed a new 11.6″ netbook, also Packard Bell has announced a new 11.6″ DOT M netbook that will cost around $400. The specifications of the new 11.6″ netbooks are identical to the current 10″ models, other than the larger workspace and higher resolution.



The latest information says that also ASUS is about to launch an 11.6″ Eee PC netbook in May, but also boldly claims that 10″  models will dominate the market in 2009 with 50% of the total sales, while 11.6″ models will make up around 30% of the netbook sales.
