Another bit of information on the GeForce 8800 GT, which is said to be the name of the card based on the rumored G92 circuit, has started to circulate. This card will be a bit different from the current 8800 cards as it will have a 256 bit bus instead of the uneven 384/320 bit busses of the GeForce 8800 GTX and GTS. There will be two versions of 8800 GT with either 256 or 512 MB 1,800 MHz GDDR3 memory. The new manufacturing process will make it possible for NVIDIA to keep the power consumption low, we’re not certain exactly how low though, and still bump the frequencies a bit, up to 600 MHz.

The GeForce 8800 GT is suppose to replace the 8800 GTS and offer performance that is in the same range as the RV670. The 8800 GT will not arrive until a month later though, on December 12.
