Small preview imageWindows Vista alias Longhorn has since it was first presented been plagued by delays and changes of the plans. Now it seems yet again that a new date is about to be set, a later one that is. Earlier it has been said that Vista will be launched during the second part of 2006, now it seems we will have to wait until November/December until we actually get to see the operating system. Microsoft “revealed” this unintentionally at a presentation during thursday.

They said that Vista won’t be launched until “2006 holiday” which indicates a launch in the USA around thanksgiving or christmas. Microsoft was fast to retract this statement and it is still officially sometime during the second part of 2006 that Vista will be launched. No matter when this is no lie, but it would perhaps be a bit more truthful to say at the end of 2006?
