Xbox 360 will now gain one of its most important accessories yet, right in time for the launch of Playstation 3; the external HD DVD player. We’ve reported about this player at numerous accounts, but now it’s time for the first review, as far as we know. Krunker.com has been able to get a hold of an HD DVD player for Xbox 360, connected it and tells us of how easy it is to use and the results in the form of audio and video. It’s not the most technical review we’ve seen, but the conclusion is that Microsoft’s HD DVD player will be a very valuable accessory for all of those who uses Xbox 360 to watch movies.
The recommended price is 199 USD and even if we don’t know for sure what the price will be in Europe we can guarantee you that you will not be able to find a cheaper HD DVD player anytime soon. Although, for this to work you need an Xbox 360 console or is thinking about investing in one. Anyhow, Microsoft seems to have done a really good job with the external player and the only negative about it is that it’s another external unit taking up further space.
