Earlier information claimed that DFI would be the only manufacture with an RD600-based motherboard, but now it seems it will not be truly alone. The motherboard giant ASUS is namely working on a card of its own based on the RD600 chipset and this simply because it has realized the potential of the chipset. It will be the last AMD/ATI chipset for Intel’s processor platform and if RD600 delivers its goods it will make quite an impression on the market. DFI has already announced its RD600 motherboard while ASUS equivalent is expected to appear in a few weeks, either at the end of December or the beginning of January.
