Within a week Intel will present the first 32 nanometer processors, the desktop family Clarkdale. The processors will be part of the Core i3 and Core i5 series  and bring dual-cores and integrated GPUs. The new and more efficient manufacturing technology promises good overclocking potential, something it has lived up to now that Taiwanese overclocker has pushed Core i5 Clarkdale from 3.47GHz to 6.92GHz using liquid nitrogen.

Except from a screen dump at 6921MHz ‘nickshih’ also managed to collect a world record in SuperPi, where 1M was done in 6.344 seconds at 6.76GHz.

Impressive clock frequencies with Intel’s new 32 nanometer architecture that is expected to appear in the first week of January 2010.
