Crossfire for laptops

CrossFire is ATI’s answer to NVIDIA’s SLI and we recently reported about how the latter will soon appear inside laptops. That CrossFire then wouldn’t appear with laptops as well would perhaps be a bit surprising but it seems that it will, it is even the same company that is working with bringing SLI to laptops. Clevo makes the laptops you can find branded e.g. Alienware and VoodooPC, which means that relatively soon you should see laptops from Alienware with both SLI and CrossFire if everything goes as planned. What perhaps is a bit frightening with this is the heat we can look forward to and how much of a battery time these beast will have, but then again both of these aren’t considered to be all that important with desktop replacements.
