Brisbane is the code-name for AMD’s coming 65nm core. The new core comes with several interesting updates; including support for 0.5 HyperTransport settings and a lower TDP. Forum user and ChileHardware collaborator metro has now posted a CPU-Z screenshot (source CH) of an Athlon 64 X2 4800+ engineering sample based on AMD’s new Brisbane core. He is currently doing some overclocking and more results are coming as the processor will be launched tomorrow.
