AMD has been getting some mixed reviews lately where most of all its economy has been questioned. During CeBIT AMD has taken the opportunity to display wafers with Barcelona cores and speak up about its future with ATI. In a German forum a detailed table with information about the coming models from AMD has appeared and it looks like we can expect K10 coming in from all directions in shapes of both dual and quad core processors. The dual core models (Kuma) will be available at somewhat higher frequencies than than the quad models (Agena). Kuma is expected to reach speeds up to 2.9Ghz, while as we reported a month ago, Agena will only reach 2.5GHz.

All of these will have a shared L3 cache at 2MB, even the dual core models. The TDP varies between 65W for the slower dual core models up to 120W for the quad core at 2.3 and 2.5GHz. AMD’s TDP is just a theoretic value though and considering how much AMD have been bragging about its efficient architecture you should not consider these values anywhere near to the real-life values.
