Small preview imageDell 3007WFP seems to be Dell’s next creation to enter the monitor market and it is certainly not just any monitor. Dell has caught the attention of many with its large monitors with 2405FPW leading them with its 24″ big widescreen panel. Apple has been one of Dell’s strongest competitors with its Cinema HD Display series and even if Dell has often won the battle because of its much lower price, Apple has always had an ace up its sleeve, its 30″ top of the line model. Dell hasn’t had an equivalent in this segment, but this will change the next couple of weeks. At Neowin they’ve namely posted information that points to that Dell is planning on launching a new LCD monitor at precisely 30″, Dell 3007WFP.

There is defintely more than a few longing for a 30″ LCD monitor from Dell and according to Neowin it will appear on Dell’s homepage already on December 21 in North America. Alas there is no information however about a launchdate for Europe. The specifications looks as follows;

Display Size: 30 inch
Response Time: 14ms
Brightness: 400cd/m2
Contrast: 700:1
Viewing Angle: 178/178
Native Resolution: WQXGA (2560 x 1600)
PC Connectivity: DVI-D (Dual link) x 1 with HDCP
Others: 4-Port USB Hub, 9-in-1 Multimedia Card Reader/Slots, Height Adjustable Stand, Swivel & Tilt. (No pivot)

We sincerely hope that this information and that Dell will set an ”attractive” price on the monster display, but also update its other big screen displays.
