Google‘s main man Eric Schmidt announced this week that Google has no plans for developing a browser to complete its search engine and further compete with the rival Microsoft and its Internet Explorer browser. This statement was made to deny all of the rumors that have been going around that Google is indeed working on a browser, something it claims it is not and says that there already are good alternatives available. At the same he did not want to exclude the possibility of developing a browser completely, but meant that it will not venture on to something it is not completely certain that it will offer any apparent advantages. It will not develop a browser just for the sake of it.
