GeForce 7800GTX 512MB rumours have been going around for some time now, nVidia’s flagship 7800 GTX is so far only available with 256MB and now that ATi launches Radeon X1800 XT this card will be available with up to 512MB. nVidia has no intention of being worse and now it seems they are finally about to launch its 512MB verison of GeForce 7800 GTX at pretty much exact same time as AT’is launch of X1800 XT. A far fom surprising move. What we are wondering is if nVidia has tuned the 512MB cards to any extent. We’ve heard of increased frequencies but it seems we will only get more memory. Which probably means that nVidia will have more than enough cards available at the launch. Source: The Inquirer
