NVIDIA hasn’t just rebuilt the graphics circuit of GeForce GTX 460, but also tailored a cooler for the new mid-range card. As we talked about earlier today overclocking potential is plenty and we now get a peek at the cooler.

The first images of NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 460 reference card has been published by Asian site Expreview and the pictures confirm what we’ve been talking about, that the GF104 graphics circuit will be rectangular and that the circuit board has been stripped down together with the GPU.

The heatsink covers the entire card and uses an expected heatpipe design with a large centralized fan on top of the GPU. The cooler takes up two expansion slots and we see that the card comes with dual 6-pin PCIe power connectors, and dual DVI outputs and one mini-HDMI output.

Stories have confirmed that the card can reach clock frequencies over 800 MHz without modifications and with some voltage adjustments 900 MHz and more. We look forward to going higher.
