GeForce 9800GX2 is getting closer and closer. The details of this dual-chip dual-PCB card have been unwrapping quite fast during the last few weeks. Many have been fearing that this beast would be extremely expensive, but that doesn’t seem to be the case if we’re to believe Tomshardware.tw. The card will retail at only $449, which is pretty much the same as Radeon HD 3870X2. They have also posted more and quite a lot better pictures of the soon to be released card, including a picture of Quad-SLI.
It seems that the whole GeForce 9 series will be launched on February 14th, but the availability of the different cards may differ a bit, and there may be some additional cards arriving later on.
