PlayStation 3 has just as the previous PS2 been hyped for its full backwards compatibillity, which many consider an important part of a new gaming console. While Microsoft has gotten a lot of negative publicity because it for long was uncertain if Xbox 360 would support today’s dagens Xbox-titles, which it will to some extent. Noone has ever doubted Sony’s statement that PS3 would be fully backwards compatible. Well perhaps we should have now that Sony has left the door open by stating that it will be hard to tell whether PS3 will be 100% backwards compatible, but that they will do their best to make it that. These kind of things are never easy to get rid of in the future and expecially as Sony will have to sit there and look how poeple buys Xbox 360 until they launch their console, they’d better succeed.
