USB flash memory is today’s answer to the old floppy and even if it’s hardly any use comparing the two, one of the big advantages of USB flash memory is the capacity. The manufacturer SanDisk seems to be trying to increase the storage capacity all the time for their portable memories and continue this trend by launching Cruzer Mini 8GB, a flash memory with a whopping 8GB of storage. An enormous amount of data storage but it should be worth mentioning these costs a few hundred dollars though. SanDisk hasn’t launched its new memory officially yet but at Engadget they’ve publiched infomation and pictures that seems highly reliable.
