NVIDIA confirmed at the end of May that its first GeForce drivers for Windows 8 had been certified by Microsoft. While the official WHQL driver will take a while the company has instead released the first beta GeForce drivers – GeForce 302.80.

GeForce 302.80 is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions and support NVIDIA’s discrete GeForce graphics cards in Microsoft’s Windows 8 Release Preview. NVIDIA is planning an equivalent release for its notebook chips.

NVIDIA has also started a separate forum thread for comments and feedback on the new Windows 8 drivers, where you can share our experiences and possible bugs.
