Firefox 1.1 will most likely be the browser that will have to battle Microsoft’s betaversion of Internet Explorer 7. Any exact information on the new features Firefox 1.1 will hasn’t been released yet but now some information has appeared that indicates that the browser will support SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). Vector-graphics is simply 2-dimensional graphics that can change resolution without losing image quality. It is today very rare to find this on webapges since the support in today’s browsers pretty much isn’t there, except through addons. Firefox 1.1 might be the first step towards higher acceptance for SVG.
