NVIDIA has been very strong over the last two years, but lately things have been a bit of a mess. It has reported the first red quarter in 5 years and it’s the mobile circuits that are put to blame, but also the price war with AMD. The loss doesn’t surprise anyone since it a month ago revealed that the costs for fixing the defective die packaging would cost them up to $200 million. NVIDIA is hardly pleased by breaking its five year streak and we will just have to wait and see what the next quarter will look like.
