The factory overclocked Radeon HD 5870 cards are appearing almost anywhere now. The latest comes from PowerColor that has presented PCS++ HD5870 with 950MHz GPU clock frequency, which will result in 9% better performance in 3DMark Vantage says the company. The card ships with 1GB GDDR5 memory operating at the reference frequency, 1200MHz (4800MHz effectively).

PowerColor PCS++ HD5870 has a new cooler with four copper heatpipes under a larger 92mm fan. This new cooler will lower temperatures by up to 15°C compared to the reference, while the noise will also drop.

PowerColor will start selling HD 5870 on April 20th and the price will be around $400, bundled with DiRT2.
