Young Hwan Park, the current VP at Samsung Semiconductor, has admitted that he during his period as Vice President of Sales at Samsung participated at meetings where they discussed the pricing DRAM circuits and then fulfilled these. Samsung has as a company, along with several others, already admitted to participating in price fixing and been fined hundreds of millions, but now it’s one of the 18 individuals that have participated that has admitted. The punishment for fixing prices is 10 months in jail and a $250,000 fine as he admitted being part of the price-fixing cartel between April 2001 to June 2002.
