Sanyo 42LM4WPR-E isn’t just any LCD-TV, but it’s neither its size, 42″, nor the support for HD signals that makes it stand out. 42LM4WPR-E is namely water resistant, which indeed makes it unique. Sanyo has presented its water-proof TV at CeBIT and have taken the opportunity to “water” the TV in front of gasping visitors. 42LM4WPR-E hasn’t complained yet and those who are looking for a new TV, size larger, for the bath room or the pool, Sanyo 42LM4WPR-E should be an interesting alternative. A more realistic use would perhaps be outside, where rain and moist is a hazard to regular LCD TVs.
There are not detailed specifications for Sanyo’s water-proof LCD-TV, but at CNET they’ve posted a few pictures of the watered TV.
