Viewsonic has taken the time to broaden its assortment at the start of the new year as it has launched two new widescreen LCD monitors. Viewsonic biggest option has been at 23″ earlier but it has now launched both a 24″ and a 28″ model which both seem to have been secured for some time ahead. Viewsonic VX2435wm and VX2835wm both use the HDMI interface and have support for HDCP. The LCD panels comes with resolutions at 1920×1200 pixels, 8ms response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a brightness at 500 nits.
“The VX2435wm and VX2835wm also feature a smart color engine which optimizes the color and skin tones within movies, games and photos and multifunctional inputs to support a variety of digital content, including VGA, DVI-D, composite, S-Video and component. Both displays can be wall mounted, and are environmentally friendly with standby power consumption below one watt.”
The price of Viewsonic’s new monitors will be $699 and $879 dollar. 24″ monitors are becoming more and more common, even larger such too, as more and more manufacturers launch their own models.
