HP has now released a larger kind of LCD monitor and at 30″ HP LP3065 is a direct competitor to similar models from Apple, Dell and Samsung. The specifications are very similar as we can see the same resolution at 2560x1600px, response time at 6ms and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The only thing that seems to separate it from the competition is that LP3065 comes with three DVI-D dual-link inputs, which makes it possible to connect up to three different computer systems at the same time and easily shift between them.

The monitor has already been sighted in American stores and the launch date has been set to November 11. HP’s recommended price is 1699 USD, which is slightly higher than Dell 3007WFP, but considerably lower than Apple Cinema HD 30″.
