Zalman is best known for its innovative cooling solutions, but now that it has decided to launch a monitor, it’s still with innovation as the key. Zalman ZM-M2020W Trimon isn’t just any 22″ LCD monitor, it’s a 3D monitor. We first heard about 3D monitors from Samsung back in 2006, but they won’t arrive until 2009, and there’s no doubt that monitor manufacturers are working on displays capable of graphics displayed in three dimensions. Zalman seems to be one of the first to create a commercial 3D monitor.

Zalman Trimon is built on 3D technology from NVIDIA and you will need both graphics card and specific drivers to make it work. Even if we’ve been hearing about half and odd products supposedly capable of of 3D images, Zalman and NVIDIA seem to be the first to receive praise.

”Zalman has proved that nVidia’s investment in 3D display technology was a sound one. This screen really does produce a truly immersive 3D environment in which to play your games. In fact everyone in the office was surprised at how good the 3D effect was on the ZM-M2020D.” – TrustedReviews
