AMD has increased its revenues over 304%

AMD has now relased its first quarter results and the figures are very impressive as the total sales increased from $0.78 billion to $1.33 billion, a 70.5% increase compared to last year’s result. Even more impressive is the increased revenues, before taxes and fees are paid, that during the first quarter of 2005 was $64 million and this quarter reached $259 million, a massive 304.7% increase! The gross margin went from 52.7% to 58.5%. The growth compared to the fourth quarter of 2005 was not as impressive, but the figures show that AMD has had a very good year.
