Dell’s UltraSharp series has been blessed with two new IPS LCD monitors. Dell UltraSharp U2211H and Dell UltraSharp U2311H both offer full HD resolution, at 21.5″ and 23″ respectively. The monitors have 8ms response time, but the strength is in the IPS panel and the correct color reproduction and wide viewing angles that are important for professional users.
Dell specifies the contrast ratio to 1,000:1, but with dynamic technology the ratio increases ten fold to 10,000:1. Both models ship with an integrated USB hub with four ports and the video is connected through either DVI or DisplayPort.
The monitors also support a variety of tilting, turning and rotation functions, and are certified for EnergyStar 5.0 with typical power consumptions of 22W and 33W.
The prices of the new monitors are $299 for Dell UltraSharp U2311H and $279 for Dell UltraSharp U2211H.
