(Fake) GeForce 9800GTX specifications emerge

Rumor forum Chiphell has once again managed to become the start of a chain of news posts through a thread about what is suppose to be the specifications of the next high-end chip from NVIDIA. The card they name GeForce 9800GTX, so far things are good, is suppose to be something really extraordinary. The post said 9800GTX would sport 256 shader processors, run at 780MHz core clock, 2048MB 3200 MHz GDDR5 memory and 15-25% lower TDP than GeForce 8800GTS, and so forth. Too good to be true? Yes. What most people seem to have missed is that this was pure speculation as the original post ends with ”PS. These are my own personal speculations…”
