Mac not as safe as many of the users believe

Macintosh has, a lot thanks to its Unix base, been able to avoid a lot of the spyware, malware and virus circulating. However there are still versions of these and they can cause just as much harm as the Windows version can, but that isn’t the problem with Mac if we are to believe Bill Thompson’s words that have been published by BBC. The problem is more of a blind faith in the systems, that as long as you are using a computer from Apple, or simply avoid PC and Microsoft really, you are safe, which is far from the truth. There is less malware, etc., no doubt about that, but to claim that you can avoid all problems by simply swtiching to Mac is dedicating yourself to an unhealthy blind faith in Apple and the Mac.
