ASUS is no longer alone to support AMD Bulldozer with its AM3 motherboards, but now MSI has also announced that it will give several of its motherboards support, no less than 10 models. While AMD continues to put the lid on thing and make no official announcement on the Bulldozer support with current motherboards.
MSI reveals that 10 different models in the current assortment will support AMD Bulldozer. This will give new hope to many users with AM3 motherboards and that ASUS is not the only to be supportive with current motherboards.
MSI reveals that the current models will support Bulldozer through a simple BIOS update.

While both ASUS and MSI have announced that several of its AM3 motherboards will support AMD Bulldozer it is still nothing officially endorsed by AMD but something MSI and ASUS have chosen to do. What may be missing when compared to motherboards of the 900 series chipset is uncertain, but we are careful to recommend a combination of AM3 motherboards and Bulldozer until we have had a chance to try it out for ourselves or AMD reveals more about these updates.
