Component maker MSI has published a list of the motherboards that supports AMD’s new hexa-core processors from day one. Phenom II X6 will be officially unveiled on April 27th and beside the already 30 or so launched Socket AM3 motherboards MSI will also present new models.
The only thing you need to get your MSI motherboard compatible with the new Phenom II X6 family is a BIOS update. The motherboards that can already be updated to support Phenom II X6 and enjoy six cores of Phenom are listed below;
