OCZ offers a broad spectrum of enthusiast products, including a couple of CPU coolers, mostly air coolers designed by third-party companies, but also the phase change cooling system Cryo-Z. It has now decided to take another step and launch a water block called OCZ HydroFlow HF-MK1. The water block fits all of AMD’s and Intel’s latest platforms and sports a solid copper base for optimal heat transfer.

OCZ sends along nipples for both 1/2″ and 3/8″ tubing, and the block uses triangular flanges for optimal contact surface between water and block. OCZ offers no complete water cooling kit, but this may very well be in the works. In any case we’re curious to see how the new block stands up to the already established water cooling brands. The MSRP is $40, which sounds rather good if it performs well.
