PowerDVD is one of the most popular media playback applications and now that the developer CyberLink has released the next update there is a lot more to like about it. We now find support for the new Blu-ray BDXL (100GB) format and hardware acceleration of Blu-ray with Radeon HD 6800 series.
PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D and Deluxe are the versions that gets the updates and other news include NVIDIA 3D Vision in Windows Vista and the use of the HDMI 1.4a port on AMD Radeon HD 6800. CyberLink has also fixed some bugs and problems.
The latest update for PowerDVD 10 Mark II can be fetched from CyberLink’s website and weighs in at 120MB.
