Apple’s foudner and leading star Steve Jobs has passed. Steve Jobs closed his eyes for the last time on Thursday night after struggling against cancer for several years. He leaves a company that has changed the industry in many ways. Many have honored Steve Jobs passing, including Apple that shows a picture of Jobs.
Apple did not become the highest valued company over night, but has been a crucial part off the industry for many year. Visionary Steve Jobs is considered to have been a key element in this achievement and when Jobs left the company in the 80s the company headed for a steady decline towards bankruptcy.
Since Steve Jobs return to Apple in 1997 the development has been in a positive direction with several key launches like Apple iMac (1998), iTunes and iPod (2001), iPhone (2007) and Apple iPad in 2010. Steve’s visions and drive has been considered the biggest reason for ths success and from jobs return the company made a total and complete turn-around.
For the last years of his life Steve Jobs struggled with cancer, he wqs diagnozed in the Fall of hösten 2003 and the year after he went through surgery to remove a tumor in the pancreas. The cancer returned and in 2009 Steve Jobs once again went on leave for 6 months, where he was claimed to go through a liver transplant.
In August 2011 Steve Jobs announced that he had reached the point where he felt we would not be able to live up to his obligations and resigned as the VP of Apple. On the night of October 5th Steve Jobs lost the fight against cancer, but will forever be remembere through Apple and its products.
