Windows 7 has been the talk of the town over the last couple of weeks and with the level of stability displayed by the recently released beta, many have been hoping for a final launch this year. Microsoft has stuck to its prior announcements where it has said 2010 at best. Information from both The Inquirer and CNet points to a launch before Christmas. Whether this is because development has been going well or they are simply wishing for it after having so much fun with the beta is harder to say.
