GeForce 8800 Ultra is with a 99% certainty the card that will bring back the performance crown to NVIDIA when/if ATI launches it new R600 series and slap around the current collection of NVIDIA cards. Dell has namely manged to publish the card at its website in the Dell XPS 710 system builder. The card will, according to Dell, have a GPU frequency of 650MHz and DDR3 memories working at 2160MHz. This is relatively close to the rumors we’ve been hearing, which is still a disappointment though as there already are GeForce 8800GTX cards clocked at similar frequencies. Although, the shader frequency may be higher as well. The price of the cards remains a mystery, but the $900+ we’ve been hearing about feel a bit exaggerated.
