During a recent Microsoft conference more than a little information was let out to the public by the software developer. It seems that the next client version of Windows has been nicknamed 7 by Microsoft (previously known as Vienna) and that Microsoft plans to have it ready for launch in just three years. Microsoft plans to keep its approach with separate versions for retail and business channels, and retain the 32 and 64-bit versions. According to the sources, Microsoft also mentioned the possibility of a subscription service but there were no further details on how this service would work.
